Estallido social y pandemia: de los cabildos a las ollas comunes. El caso del Norte Grande de Chile

Abstract

Se analiza descriptivamente la conexión entre el estallido social del 18 de octubre del año 2019, con la crisis sanitaria del Covid19. Se propone visualizar ambos fenómenos interconectados entre sí y no en línea secuencial. Se pregunta acerca del rol de la sociedad civil en la superación tanto de la Constitución del año 80, producto de la dictadura de Pinochet, como en el modo de protección ante el riesgo sanitario. Se presta especial atención en las expresiones de solidaridad que estas crisis han gatillado en la realidad del Norte Grande de Chile.

The connection between the social outbreak of October 18, 2019, with the Covid19 health crisis is descriptively analyzed. It is proposed to visualize both phenomena interconnected with each other and not in a sequential line. He wonders about the role of civil society in overcoming both the Constitution of the year 80, product of the Pinochet dictatorship, and in the way of protection against health risks. Special attention is paid to the expressions of solidarity that these crises have triggered in the reality of the North of Chile.
