Sociología Marxista del deporte: Consideraciones al reduccionismo sociológico de Jean Marie Brohm

Abstract

En el presente artículo se pretende una aproximación histórica a la sociología del deporte, teniendo en cuenta su pionera irrupción en el panorama académico. En segundo lugar se propone una aproximación a la sociología del deporte elaborada por Jean Marie Brohm, representante de la perspectiva marxista. En tercer lugar se exponen los puntos centrales de la propuesta de Robert Louis Simon, representante del Internalismo ético del deporte. Finalmente, desde el Internalismo ético, se evidenciará una de las carencias del pensamiento de Brohm: el “reduccionismo sociológico” al que conduce su discurso. Sin desestimar las aportaciones que Brohm ha realizado al estudio sociológico del deporte

This article aims at a historical approach to the sociology of sport, taking into account its pioneering breakthrough on the academic scene. Secondly, an approach to the sociology of sport is proposed by Jean Marie Brohm, representative of the Marxist perspective. Thirdly, the central points of the proposal of Robert Louis Simon, representative of the ethical internalism of sport, are exposed. Finally, from Ethical Internalism, one of the deficiencies of Brohm’s thought will beco-me evident: the “sociological reductionism” to which his discourse leads.
