Análise social, econômica e histórica das reservas extrativistas da amazônia: lutas e trajetórias

Abstract

As Reservas Extrativistas são uma das categorias das unidades de conservação de uso sustentável, que tem como objetivo proteger os meios de vida e a cultura das populações extrativistas além de assegurar o uso sustentável dos recursos naturais das Unidades de Conservação. Este estudo analisou um conjunto de informações socioeconômicas, culturais e ambientais das Reservas Extrativistas localizadas na Amazônia. Trata-se de um estudo de campo do tipo transversal, descritivo e analítico, com abordagem qualitativa, quantos aos instrumentos foram realizados questionários, entrevistas, observações e diálogos com membros das comunidades, que buscou analisar as características, significados, lutas e trajetórias na construção e consolidação destes espaços e nesta perspectiva retratarem as questões sobre o modo de vida destas populações e suas representações. Quantos aos resultados e discussão foram demonstrados, a partir das lutas, das conquistas, das ressignificações, das representações e a reflexão sobre a exclusão social destes povos e seus sentidos de vida. Nesta perspectiva é fundamental que haja uma reincorporação das questões ambientais nas políticas sociais, numa ampla estratégia de desenvolvimento, baseados também nos objetivos globais para o desenvolvimento sustentável, de modo a diminuir a exclusão e vulnerabilidade das pessoas que vivem nestas áreas.

Extractive Reserves are one of the categories of conservation units for sustainable use, which aims to protect the livelihoods and culture of the extractive populations and ensure the sustainable use of the natural resources of the Conservation Units. This study analyzed a set of socioeconomic, cultural and environmental information of the Extractive Reserves located in the Amazon. This was a cross-sectional, descriptive and analytical field study, with a qualitative approach, how many of the instruments were questionnaires, interviews, observations and dialogues with community members, which sought to analyze the characteristics, meanings, struggles and trajectories in the construction and consolidation of these spaces and in this perspective portray the questions about the way of life of these populations and their representations. How many of the results and discussion have been demonstrated, starting with the struggles, the achievements, the resignifications, the representations and the reflection on the social exclusion of these peoples and their senses of life. In this perspective, it is essential that environmental issues be reintegrated into social policies, into a comprehensive development strategy, based also on global objectives for sustainable development, in order to reduce the exclusion and vulnerability of people living in these areas.
