Factores significativos para mejorar el desempeño del sector hotelero en Ciudad Juárez, México

Abstract

El objetivo de esta investigación fue reconocer los factores que intervienen en el aumento del desempeño del sector hotelero. Se utilizaron ecuaciones estructurales mediante encuesta de 27 ítems, estudiando 30 hoteles. Los resultados indican que el aumento del desempeño depende de las acciones para una correcta gestión del capital humano, atención al cliente, gestión de calidad, tecnologías de información y capital intelectual. Este trabajo solo se realizó en una ciudad donde su turismo es industrial; es necesario replicarlo en ciudades turísticas.

The objective of this research was to recognize the factors involved in increasing the performance of the hotel sector, through structural equations using a 27-item survey, where 30 hotels were studied. The results indicate that increased performance will depend on the actions taken for correct management of human capital, customer service, quality management, information technologies and intellectual capital. This work was only carried out in one city where itstourism isindustrial; is necessary to replicate it in touristic cities.
