La transferencia científica universidad-empresa: rol Universidad de Guayaquil

Abstract

La investigación analiza la oferta académica de la Universidad de Guayaquil y su impacto en las microempresas en la provincia del Guayas, Ecuador. Se utilizaron métodos cualitativos y cuantitativos, incluyendo encuestas a docentes, estudiantes y microempresarios. Los resultados muestran que la transferencia de conocimiento desde la academia beneficia a las microempresas cuando se enfoca en las necesidades de crecimiento de cada sector productivo, contribuyendo así al crecimiento económico en un mundo competitivo con creciente demanda de producción debido al aumento de la población.

The current global economy necessitates widespread competition, with businesses playing a crucial role in meeting the ever-increasing demand for production due to population growth. This research aims to analyze the academic offerings of the University of Guayaquil and, more specifically, to understand how scientific research benefits local microenterprises in the Guayas province, Ecuador. Qualitative and quantitative methods were used for data collection, analysis, and interpretation. Surveys were conducted with teachers, students, and microentrepreneurs to gain insights into the issue. The findings conclude that knowledge transfer from academia to microenterprises is positive when aligned with the growth needs of each productive sector, contributing to economic growth in a competitive world with rising production demands due to population growth.
