La educación y el cambio social

Abstract

En este trabajo Educación y Cambio Social se expone de manera sintética la presencia de seis problemas que debe afrontar la educación venezolana para un cambio social positivo. Algunos de estos problemas se han estudiado a profundidad en el Grupo de Investigación de la Consciencia Social de la Universidad de Los Andes (GISCSVAL), ello ha dado lugar a importantes experiencias y propuestas recogidas y divulgadas en revistas académicas. Los problemas reseñados son: 1.-La violencia, el maltrato y el autoritarismo. 2.- El endorracismo. 3.-La ausencia y necesidad de una ética de la vida. 4.- La ausencia y necesidad del Arte. 5.-La tecnocracia, la ideología tecnocrática y sus consecuencias. 6.- La necesidad de incorporar nuevos paradigmas. A su vez en este trabajo se hace una breve referencia a los programas, los proyectos y las líneas de investigación desarrolladas por los miembros de GISCSVAL, el área de estudios denominada Psicopedagogía Social, la revista académica Consciencia y Dialogo y la Cátedra para el estudio y la comunicación del Mensaje artístico literario para la Infancia Rafael Rivero Oramas.

In this work Education and Social Change, the presence of eight problems that venezuelan education must face for a positive social change is exposed in a synthetic way. Some of these problems have been studied in depth in the Social Consciousness Research Group of the University of the Andes GISCSVAL, this has given rise to important experiences and proposals collected and published in academic journals. The problems outlined are: 1.-The violence, mistreatment and authoritarianism, 2.-New type of institutional violence. 3.-The endorracism, 4.-The absence and need for an ethic of life, 5.- The absence and need for Art, 6.-The technocracy, technocratic ideology. 7.-Poverty and social inequality. 8.- The need to incorporate new paradigms. In turn, this work makes a brief reference to the programs, projects and lines of research developed by the members of GISCSVAL, the area of study called Social Psychopedagogy, the academic journal Consciencia y Dialogo and the Chair for the study and the communication of the literary artistic message for Children Rafael Rivero Oramas.
