De lo análogo a lo digital: la textura y la ilustración contemporánea para una estética de la zulianidad

Abstract

Se presenta una investigación sobre la evolución de la textura desde losmedios tradicionales (análogos) hacia el entorno digital, enfocándose específicamente en cómo esta se utiliza para construir una estética de la identidad zuliana. La investigación arguye que la textura digital no es un simple "parche" decorativo o un simulacro estéril, sino un acto de intencionalidad técnica y estética que activa la memoria táctil y cultural del espectador. Como complemento se presenta la propuesta artística "Postales de Fe y Tierra Zuliana", en la que se demuestra, cómo el uso del contraste textural, yuxtaponiendo elementos pulcros con fondos que simulan el desgaste, el salitre y el sol del Zulia, logra evocar sentimientos de arraigo, nostalgia y resistencia histórica. El estudio concluye que, en la era tecnológica, la autenticidad de una obra no reside en la materia física utilizada, sino en la codificación consciente de signos que resuenan en el imaginario colectivo.

This paper presents research on the evolution of texture from traditional (analog) media to the digital environment, focusing specifically on how it is used to construct an aesthetic of Zulia identity. The research argues that digital texture is not a mere decorative "patch" or a sterile simulation, but rather an act of technical and aesthetic intentionality that activates the viewer's tactile and cultural memory. As a complement, the artistic proposal "Postcards of Faith and Zulia Land" is presented, demonstrating how the use of textural contrast—juxtaposing pristine elements with backgrounds that simulate the wear and tear, saltpeter, and sun of Zulia—evokes feelings of belonging, nostalgia, and historical resilience. The study concludes that, in the technological age, the authenticity of a work resides not in the physical materials used, but in the conscious encoding of signs that resonate with the collective imagination.
