Semiosis social sobre las representaciones que asignan los estudiantes a los valores éticos como soporte para el ejercicio de la contaduría pública

Abstract

El Contador Público requiere no sólo conocimientos técnicos, sino también de una conducta ética en su desempeño. Se buscó estudiar el conocimiento sobre valores éticos de estudiantes de Contaduría Pública de la Universidad de Carabobo. El objetivo fue interpretar, a través de la semiótica, las representaciones que éstos asignan a los valores éticos para el ejercicio profesional. La investigación fue cualitativa, de campo, documental y descriptiva. Como técnica, la entrevista a Informantes Clave; revelando que son fundamentales los valores para ejercer la profesión de manera leal, confiable, honrada y responsable. Se recomienda fortalecer esta enseñanza desde inicios de su formación.

The Public Accountant requires not only technical knowledge, but also ethical conduct in his performance. The aim was to study the knowledge about ethical values of Public Accounting students from the University of Carabobo. The objective was to interpret, through semiotics, the representations that they assign to the ethical values for the professional practice. The research was qualitative, field, documentary and descriptive. As a technique, the interview to Key Informants was used; revealing that values are fundamental to exercise the profession in a loyal, dependable, honest, and responsible way. It is recommended to strengthen this teaching from the beginning of their training.
