Estrategias de planificación urbana sustentable a aplicar en la Avenida Los Próceres del Municipio Libertador del Estado Mérida

Abstract

RESUMEN El actual modelo urbano causa daños irreversibles a nuestro ecosistema, degradando el entorno y agotando los recursos naturales, enseñándonos un panorama nada alentador que nos hace pensar que somos los agentes de cambio, y debemos orientarnos hacia un proyecto colectivo en rescate del ambiente natural y construido, disminuyendo el gran impacto que han tenido las actividades humanas sobre nuestro planeta. La planificación urbana sustentable debe ajustar las actividades humanas y armonizarlas con la naturaleza, no es posible que ya en el siglo 21 existan planteamientos urbanos que no se sumen a esta iniciativa, las estrategias de sustentabilidad deben incorporarse a todo nivel de desarrollo, en búsqueda de un fin común el bienestar de nuestro ecosistema, garantizando la calidad de vida para todo organismo que lo habite. Es apremiante generar espacios donde la comunidad, los expertos en el tema y los entes gubernamentales, unan sus esfuerzos en crear estrategias que guíen el proceso de incorporación de la sustentabilidad en nuestros ámbitos urbanos, frenando con ello el deterioro que ha sufrido el entorno natural y construido, punto de partida para alcanzar la sustentabilidad de las ciudades. La intención de éste estudio es analizar y proponer iniciativas de desarrollo sustentable en la planificación urbana venezolana, en especial la ciudad de Mérida, logrando calidad de vida, bienestar ambiental, social, económico y urbano territorial.

ABSTRACT The current urban model causes irreversible damage to our ecosystem, degrading the environment and depleting natural resources, teaching an overview not encouraging that makes us think that we are the agents of change, and we must be guided towards a collective project to rescue the natural and built environment, reducing the large impact human activities have had on our planet. Sustainable urban planning must adjust and harmonize human activities with nature , you cannot already exist in the 21st century urban approaches that join this initiative , sustainability strategies should be incorporated at all levels of development, search a common goal the welfare of our ecosystem , ensuring quality of life for all organisms to inhabit . It is urgent to create spaces where the community, experts in the field and government agencies, joins forces to create strategies that guide the process of incorporating sustainability into our urban areas, thereby slowing deterioration suffered by the natural environment and built starting point for achieving sustainability of cities. The intention of this study is to analyze and propose sustainable development initiatives in urban planning Venezuela, especially the city of Merida, achieving quality of life, environmental, social, economic and urban planning.
