El rol docente en el uso de la inteligencia artificial en ambientes educativos

Abstract

En este artículo, se analiza la relevancia y el estado del arte actual de la inteligencia artificial (IA) en la educación. Se destaca que, a pesar de los avances significativos en la IA, el papel del docente sigue siendo fundamental en el proceso educativo. Se aborda los desafíos y las oportunidades que la IA presenta en el ámbito educativo. Se menciona que la IA puede personalizar la experiencia de aprendizaje, adaptándose a las necesidades individuales de los estudiantes, además, puede mejorar la evaluación y proporcionar retroalimentación instantánea. Sin embargo, también es necesario abordar consideraciones éticas en el uso de la IA en clase. Se subraya que la IA en la educación no busca reemplazar al docente, sino fortalecer su rol. El docente sigue siendo crucial para guiar, motivar y desarrollar habilidades de pensamiento crítico y reflexivo y de orden superior en los estudiantes, aprovechando las oportunidades que la IA ofrece para mejorar la enseñanza y el aprendizaje.

In this article, the relevance and current state of the art of artificial intelligence (AI) in education is analyzed. It is highlighted that, despite the significant advances in AI, the role of the teacher continues to be fundamental in the educational process. The challenges and opportunities that AI presents in the educational field are addressed. It is mentioned that the AI can personalize the learning experience, adapting to the individual needs of the students, in addition, it can improve the evaluation and provide instant feedback. However, there is also a need to address ethical considerations in the use of AI in class. It is emphasized that AI in education does not seek to replace the teacher, but to strengthen their role.
