Prevención de la violencia de género desde la educación superior

Abstract

La violencia de género es un problema de salud pública, que afecta a la sociedad ecuatoriana en todos sus niveles, siendo el ámbito educativo universitario igualmente afectado por esta conducta machista. Donde el sector femenino como sujeto y objeto de agresión es la principal víctima de esta acción. El presente estudio tuvo como fin establecer un plan de acciones para la prevención de la violencia de género desde la perspectiva de la educación superior. Para su logro se utilizó una metodología de investigación fundamentada en el paradigma positivista, con un enfoque cuantitativo bajo la modalidad de estudio Proyecto Factible y de nivel Descriptivo. La técnica de recolección de datos fue el fichaje y como instrumento la ficha de contenido. La técnica de análisis de los datos fue el análisis de contenido. Entre las conclusiones, se estableció la importancia de empoderar a la mujer sobre sus derechos y de la manera para evitar la violencia de género dentro del campus universitario y en la comunidad en general. Motivado a que las mujeres no hacen valer los derechos que poseen para lograr una vida libre de violencia.

The data analysis technique was content analysis.Among the conclusions, the importance of empowering women about their rights and the way to avoid gender violence within the university campus and in the community in general was established. Motivated by the fact that women do not assert the rights they have to achieve a life free of violence.
