Manuales para la investigación: cúspides y declives

Abstract

El artículo tiene como propósito explorar las significaciones relevantes sobre la pertinencia y adecuación de los manuales de trabajo y tesis de grado; los cuales son un camino para alcanzar la creación intelectual a través de la investigación. En ellos, se plantean las formas y ciertos elementos metodológicos del que hacer investigativo; todo un cúmulo de información que muchas veces en vez de aclarar, oscurecen la creatividad del investigador. Se trata de una investigación cualitativa que intenta comprender los puntos de vista de tres informantes conocedores del uso de manuales dentro de su desempeño profesional, a través de una entrevista profundidad. Entre sus hallazgos surgió el criterio de libertad para investigar siempre y cuando se respete el estado de arte, las bases teóricas, y demás criterios metodológicos, así como un uso ético de la inteligencia artificial. Se requiere redimensionar su concepción y hacer ajustes en atención a los avances tecnológicos.

The purpose of the article is to explore the relevant meanings about the relevance and adequacy of work manuals and degree theses; which are a path to achieve intelectual creation through research. In them, the forms and certain methodological elements of the investigative task are proposed; a whole accumulation of information that often, instead of clarifying, obscures the researcher's creativity. This is a qualitative research that attempts to understand the points of view of three informants familiar with the use of manuals within their profesional performance, through an in-depth interview. Among its findings arose the criterion of freedom to investigate as long as the state of the art, theoretical bases, and other methodological criteria are respected, as well as ethical use of artificial intelligence. It is necessary to resize its conception and make adjustments in response to technological advances.
