Abstract

Toda cirugía amerita la posterior reparación del tejido involucrado, el proceso de cicatrización es un evento de vital importancia no solo para el cirujano sino también para el protesista, el uso de los concentrados plaquetarios, en especial de la fibrina rica en plaquetas (PRF) se ha convertido en un aliado a la hora de garantizar condiciones postoperatorias optimas, gracias a sus propiedades en la regeneración del tejido duro y blando, su aplicación en diversos procedimientos quirúrgicos así lo señalan, en los últimos años han sido numerosas las investigaciones en torno a este tema . El objetivo de esta investigación fue realizar una revisión bibliográfica sobre las diversas aplicaciones del PRF en cirugía bucal.
