Historiografía y desarrollo sustentable: una mirada hacia un futuro incierto

Abstract

Para nadie es un secreto que la humanidad crece a pasos agigantados, esto conlleva a un aumento exponencial de la población que requiere cumplir con sus necesidades básicas de subsistencia. Para ello, las naciones han acordado, a través de acuerdos internacionales, paliar las desigualdades que existen entre países ricos y pobres. Razón por la cual las Conferencias de las Partes (COP) han discutido y diseñado planes que se traduzcan en pro del beneficio colectivo sin perder de vista los objetivos del desarrollo sustentable, teniendo como meta aplicar mecanismos de solución a situaciones clave a mediano plazo siendo 2030 la fecha estimada. Para ello, se pretende hacer un recorrido historiográfico a fin de constatar sus logros en un futuro cercano.

It is no secret to anyone that humanity grows by leaps and bounds and this leads to an exponential increase in the population that needs to meet their basic subsistence needs. For this, nations have agreed, through international agreements, to alleviate the inequalities that exist between rich and poor countries, which is why the Conferences of the Parties (COP) have discussed and designed plans that operate for the collective benefit without losing sight of the objectives of sustainable development, with the goal of applying solution mechanisms to key situations in the medium term being the estimated date in 2030 in a near future.
