Implicaciones sociales, ambientales y educativas del avance científico y tecnológico reciente

Abstract

La interacción ciencia, tecnología y sociedad genera problemas asociados con la brecha digital, la contaminación ambiental y la necesidad de adaptar currículos educativos para promover competencias tecnológicas y éticas. El objetivo de este artículo en modalidad de ensayo es analizar hallazgos en el contexto de aquellos problemas; y discutir soluciones para mitigar los efectos adversos del avance tecnocientífico reciente. La metodología se centró en la revisión documental y se confrontó el punto de vista del autor con el de los autores consultados; para fundamentar y debatir las ideas expuestas se revisaron publicaciones que abordan el tema en cuestión. Como resultado, la ciencia y la tecnología, aun con sus avances, ha generado problemas como desempleo e inequidad en términos sociales y formativos, contaminación ambiental y otros. Se concluye que existe la necesidad de encontrar el equilibrio entre ciencia y tecnología para reducir las secuelas que estos han impuesto a escala global.

The interaction between science, technology and society generates problems associated with the digital divide, environmental pollution and the need to adapt educational curricula to promote technological and ethical skills. The objective of this article in trial mode is to report findings in the context of those problems; and discuss solutions to mitigate the adverse effects of recent techno-scientific advances. The methodology focused on documentary review and the author's point of view was compared with that of the authors consulted; To substantiate and debate the ideas presented, publications that address the topic in question were reviewed. As a result, science and technology, even with their advances, have generated problems such as unemployment and inequality in social and educational terms, environmental pollution and others. It is concluded that there is a need to find the balance between science and technology to reduce the consequences that they have imposed on a global scale.
