Influencia del Liderazgo Directivo al frente de la gestión pedagógica en Educación Media General

Abstract

El siguiente estudio representa una investigación bajo el enfoque mixto cualicuantitativo, de tipo descriptivo y con el método etnográfico. Propone comprender la situación existente en el liceo investigado mediante la aplicación de una técnica de investigación, la observación participante, apoyada con dos instrumentos de recopilación de datos: el registro descriptivo y el cuestionario, este último compuesto por quince preguntas entre cerradas y abiertas, con indicadores que miden la opinión de los sujetos consultados acerca del desempeño del equipo técnico que dirige un liceo en el estado Mérida al momento de ejercer su liderazgo al frente de la gestión pedagógica. El cuestionario se aplicó a siete docentes del mismo liceo con el fin de corroborar la información recabada mediante la observación y asentada en el registro escrito. Además se revisó en la bibliografía relacionada con el conjunto de funciones, tareas y el perfil que deben tener quienes integran la dirigencia de un liceo. Con esto se pretende ofrecer una contribución a la solución del problema planteado, que son algunas inconsistencias que de acuerdo con lo observado por la investigadora se manifiestan en el ejercicio del liderazgo de quienes han dirigido la organización investigada. Luego de la interpretación detallada de la información y de conocer todos los aspectos relacionados con las funciones y tareas que debe cumplir el equipo técnico se infirió lo siguiente: la dirigencia del liceo representa el fundamento más determinante que guía las acciones y los procesos que se deben cumplir, en consecuencia, le corresponde asumir de manera definitiva mejoras en su capacitación y desempeño a fin de garantizar un óptimo proceso educativo, logrando con ello un excelente ambiente de trabajo y la consolidación de su liderazgo de manera organizada y equilibrada. Bajo estos enfoques se orientó principalmente la presente investigación.

The following study represents a research under the mixed method qualitative and cuantitative; descriptive and ethnographic method. It proposes to understand the situation in the investigated high school through the application of a research technique, participant observation, supported by two instruments of data collection, the descriptive register and the questionnaire, the latter consisting of fifteen questions between closed and open, with indicators that measure the opinion of the subjects consulted about the performance of the technical team that runs a high school in the state of Mérida at the time of exercising its leadership in his pedagogical management. The questionnaire was applied to seven teachers of the same high school in order to corroborate the information obtained through observation and recorded in the written record. In addition, it was revised the bibliography related to the set of functions, tasks and the profile that must have those who integrate the leadership of a high school. This is intended to offer a contribution to the solution of the problem, which are some inconsistencies that, according to what the researcher observed, are manifested in the exercise of leadership by those who have directed the research organization. After the detailed interpretation of the information and to know all the aspects related to the functions and tasks that the technical team must fulfill, the following was inferred: the directive leadership of the high school institution represents the most determining foundation that guides the actions and processes that should be carried out. Moreover, it is his responsibility to assume definitively improvements in their training and performance in order to ensure an optimal educational process, thus achieving an excellent work environment and the consolidation of their leadership in an organized and balanced manner. Under these approaches, the present investigation was mainly oriented.
