Apreciaciones descriptivas del docente presentes en los reportes de evaluación

Abstract

El objetivo de esta investigación consistió en analizarlos juicios descriptivos expresados por los docentes en los boletines de evaluación que reciben los padres, representantes y estudiantes. Metodológicamente se realizó un análisis documental dentro del paradigma cualitativo, cuyo corpus estuvo conformado por 15 reportes descriptivos intencionalmente elegidos por presentar mayores diferencias en comportamientos y logros. Los 305 juicios determinados se analizaron, categorizaron y se trianguló, encontrando que el 98% (299 juicios) son descriptivos basados en criterios, tres (1%) son juicios por referencia a la norma y tres (1%), por referencia a sí mismo. Se halló 6 (2%), referencias al nivel de logro del aprendizaje. Se concluye que los boletines contienen juicios descriptivos de actuaciones, pero, no indican el nivel de logro del aprendizaje alcanzado, dificultando comprender el verdadero progreso del estudiante e incumpliendo su función de retroalimentación

The objective of this research consists of analyzing the descriptive judgments expressed by teachers in the bulletins or evaluation reports received by parents, representatives and students. The methodology was a documentary analysis research within the qualitative paradigm, whose corpus was of 15 bulletins intentionally chosen for presenting greater differences in the descriptions of behaviors and achievements. The 305 determined judgments analyzed, categorized and triangulated. It was found that 98% (299 judgments) are descriptive based on criteria, three (1%) are judgments by reference to the norm and three (1%), by reference to oneself. We found 6 (2%), references to the level of learning achievement. It concluded that the bulletins contain descriptive judgments of performances, but do not indicate the level of learning achievement, which can make it difficult to understand the true progress of the student, so the bulletins are not fulfilling their feedback function
