Las TIC y la satisfacción laboral de docentes en la Unidad Educativa Espíritu Santo, Portoviejo

Abstract

El presente artículo tiene como objetivo analizar el impacto de la TIC en la satisfacción laboral de los docentes de la Unidad Educativa Espíritu Santo, Portoviejo, siendo este uno de los temas de debate social y centro de diversas investigaciones. Metodológicamente se desarrolla mediante una investigación descriptiva, con modalidad investigativa y con un enfoque mixto, porque se obtuvo resultados cualitativos por medio de entrevistas aplicadas a las autoridades del plantel y los resultados cuantitativos permitieron obtener resultados medibles a través de gráficos y análisis porcentuales. Entre los resultados más destacado se pudo apreciar que las herramientas tecnológicas son un apoyo para mejorar las formas de impartir las clases, debiendo fortalecerse la disponibilidad de recursos tecnológicos para que los docentes dispongan de herramientas digitales en tiempo y espacio. Se concluye que las TIC han incidido de manera positiva en la satisfacción laboral de los docentes, mejorando los procesos de enseñanza aprendizaje

The objective of this article is to analyze the impact of ICT on the job satisfaction of teachers at the EspírituSanto Educational Unit, Portoviejo, this being one of the topics of social debate and the center of various investigations. Methodologically, it is developed through descriptive research, with an investigative modality and with a mixed approach, because qualitative results were obtained through interviews applied to the school authorities and the quantitative results allowed measurable results to be obtained through graphs and percentage analysis. Among the most outstanding results, it was possible to appreciate that technological tools are a support to improve the ways of teaching classes, and the availability of technological resources must be strengthened so that teachers have digital tools in time and space. It is concluded that ICTs have had a positiveimpact on teachers' job satisfaction, improving teaching-learning processes
