Experiencias de adaptación de niños y niñas migrantes en tres instituciones educativas colombianas

Abstract

La migración es una problemática social representativa en distintas regiones de Colombia, como consecuencia un gran número de población infantil ha ingresado a instituciones educativas en su mayoría públicas, de acuerdo a esto el objetivo del artículo es describir las experiencias de adaptación de niños y niñas de 8 a 10 años, migrantes El escenario asumido fueron tres instituciones educativas de los municipios colombianos de Pitalito, Sibundo y Bogotá. El método de investigación fue cualitativo fenomenológico con base a entrevista realizadas a tres familias, obteniendo como resultado que para algunos niños ha sido difícil integrar sus costumbres y con el afán de ser aceptados buscan modificar sus comportamientos, además extraña el colegio y amigos de su país natal. Reconocen que están siendo afectados por una situación de violencia física, psicológica o verbal en su contra dentro del contexto escolar, que se configuran en una posible situación de vulneración de derechos. Se concluye que valores como el respeto por las diferencias del otro, la igualdad, la libertad, se aprenden desde la misma cultura y costumbres, desde la crianza familiar, por lo que es necesario que los adultos trabajen en disminuir los factores de riesgo de violencia, desaprendiendo formas arbitrarias de ejercer la identidad territorial, asumiendo la diversidad cultural, de manera positiva, enriqueciéndose de esta.

It is concluded that values such as respect for the differences of the other, equality, freedom, are learned from the same culture and customs, from family upbringing, so it is necessary that adults work to reduce the risk factors of violence, unlearning arbitrary forms of exercising territorial identity, assuming cultural diversity, in a positive way, enriching itself from it.
