Valoración de la lengua de señas venezolana para la comunicación con el niño sordo de educación inicial

Abstract

La presente investigación estuvo orientada a sensibilizar al personal oyente del Preescolar de Educación Especial Nacional Bolivariano PEENB “Audición y Lenguaje” del estado Aragua, sobre la significación que tiene el aprendizaje de la Lengua de Señas Venezolana (LSV), como medio de comunicación con sus educandos sordos. La metodología se sustentó en el paradigma socio-crítico apoyado en la investigación acción participante, los informantes clave, el personal docente; la técnica aplicada, la entrevista. Los hallazgos obtenidos, se constató que el personal oyente, los padres y representantes del plantel educativo no son usuarios de la LSV, las actividades planificadas generaron el curso de LSV dirigido a todo el personal; asimismo, los padres solicitaron dicho curso y la escuela para padres.

The present investigation was oriented to sensitize the listening staff of the Bolivarian National Special Education Preschool P.E.E.N.B. "Hearing and Language" of the Aragua State, on the significance of learning the Venezuelan Sign Language (LSV) as a means of communication with their Deaf students. The methodology was based on the socio-critical paradigm supported by participatory action research, the key informants the teaching staff; the applied technique, the interview. The findings obtained, it was found that the listening staff, parents and representatives of the educational establishment are not users of the LSV, the planned activities generated the start of the LSV course aimed at all staff, in addition, the parents requested the LSV course and the school for parents.
