Competencias informacionales en el uso de herramientas digitales para la investigación académica en educación superior
Resumen
El presente artículo de tipo documental
tiene como propósito indagar las
competencias informacionales en el uso
de herramientas digitales necesarias en
investigación académica para la búsqueda
y selección adecuada de fuentes
multimodales de información en
educación superior. El adecuado uso de
herramientas digitales es uno de los
principales retos que enfrenta la
investigación en el ámbito universitario.
Por tanto, en el contexto de la
investigación científico-académica, es
necesaria una formación de aprendientes
y enseñantes en competencias
informacionales para un manejo crítico y
ético de la información proveniente de
múltiples medios y fuentes. Adequate information management in the
search and adequate selection of
multimodal sources constitutes one of
the main educational challenges.
Therefore, this article aims to investigate
and reflect on the informational and
digital competences necessary in the
educational field. With this intention, it is
used to consult documents versed in the
subject of interest. As a final reflection, in
the current context of scientific-academic
research, learners and teachers trained in
these skills are needed; in other words,
capable of effectively managing, critically
and ethically the information from
multiple sources and media, for the
purpose of its transformation and the
creation of new knowledge; based on
responsible decision making and
collaborative work.
