Transformación humanista en el sistema penitenciario desde la ética educacional

Abstract

El presente artículo tiene la finalidad de reflexionar sobre la transformación humanista en el sistema penitenciario venezolano desde los criterios de la ética educacional. No cabe duda que las prisiones poseen múltiples dificultades, por ello es esencial proporcionar prácticas gerenciales que permitan resaltar el valor de una intervención socio-educativa coherente y cooperativa fundamentada en la igualdad, honestidad, justicia, responsabilidad, libertad y bienestar; reconociendo la legitimidad del otro en el espacio de convivencia carcelaria.

The purpose of this article is to reflect on the humanistic transformation in the Venezuelan prison system from the criteria of educational ethics. There is no doubt that prisons have multiple difficulties, so it is essential to provide management practices that allow highlighting the value of a coherent and cooperative socioeducational intervention based on equality, honesty, justice, responsibility, freedom and wellbeing; recognizing the legitimacy of the other in the space of prison coexistence.
