Gestión y tecnologías de la información en una entidad educativa peruana

Abstract

La investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre la gestión administrativa y el uso de las TIC en una entidad educativa durante el año 2021. El estudio se desarrolló bajo un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo básico, con nivel descriptivo correlacional y diseño no experimental de corte transversal. La población y muestra estuvieron conformadas por 70 trabajadores, entre personal docente y administrativo, por lo que se trabajó con la totalidad de la población. La técnica empleada fue la encuesta y los instrumentos fueron dos cuestionarios con escala Likert, validados mediante juicio de expertos. La confiabilidad de los instrumentos alcanzó un alfa de Cronbach de 0.939 para la variable gestión administrativa y de 0.884 para la variable uso de las TIC. Los resultados evidenciaron una correlación positiva moderada entre la gestión administrativa y el uso de las TIC, con un rho de Spearman igual a 0.501 y un valor de p menor a 0.001. Asimismo, se identificaron correlaciones positivas moderadas entre la planeación y el uso de las TIC, con un rho igual a 0.504; la organización y el uso de las TIC, con un rho igual a 0.432; y la dirección y el uso de las TIC, con un rho igual a 0.514. También se observó una correlación positiva baja entre el control y el uso de las TIC, con un rho igual a 0.389. Se concluye que existe una relación significativa entre la gestión administrativa y el uso de las TIC en la entidad estudiada. Estos hallazgos permiten afirmar que el fortalecimiento de la gestión institucional se asocia con una mayor integración de herramientas tecnológicas en los procesos administrativos y educativos.

The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between administrative management and the use of ICT in an educational institution during 2021. The study was developed under a quantitative approach, with a basic research type, descriptive correlational level, and non-experimental cross-sectional design. The population and sample consisted of 70 workers, including teaching and administrative staff; therefore, the entire population was included in the study. The technique used was the survey, and the instruments consisted of two Likert-scale questionnaires validated through expert judgment. The reliability of the instruments reached a Cronbach alpha of 0.939 for the administrative management variable and 0.884 for the ICT use variable. The results showed a moderate positive correlation between administrative management and ICT use, with a Spearman rho of 0.501 and a p value lower than 0.001. Likewise, moderate positive correlations were identified between planning and ICT use, with a rho value of 0.504; organization and ICT use, with a rho value of 0.432; and direction and ICT use, with a rho value of 0.514. A low positive correlation was also observed between control and ICT use, with a rho value of 0.389. It is concluded that there is a significant relationship between administrative management and the use of ICT in the institution studied. These findings indicate that strengthening institutional management is associated with greater integration of technological tools into administrative and educational processes.
