dc.descriptionLa presente investigación tuvo como intencionalidad realizar un estudio en el sector universitario acerca de la gestión del conocimiento desde los espacios de las funciones universitarias, de acuerdo a lo establecido en la legislación venezolana. En este sentido, el propósito consistió en interpretar la gestión del conocimiento desarrollada en las Universidades Pedagógica Experimental Libertador, Instituto Pedagógico de Barquisimeto y Yacambú partiendo de la percepción de sus actores universitarios. La postura ontoepistémica y metodológica fue el paradigma interpretativo con enfoque cualitativo. Asimismo, epistémicamente la teoría partió desde el construccionismo social, develando lo señalado por los actores universitarios; el método asumido fue el fenomenológico-hermenéutico. Entre las categorías que emergieron destacan: la investigación al servicio de la sociedad, gestión del conocimiento universitario, el estudiante dentro del contexto comunitario y el docente como socializador del conocimiento. Como aporte a esta investigación destaca que el papel protagónico de las universidades en el desarrollo del país es indiscutible, la generación de conocimientos como producto de la actividad investigativa de los miembros de la comunidad universitaria responde a las necesidades sociales que se presenten, para las cuales se vuelve operativo con actividades de responsabilidad social y formación planificadas e inmersas en la dinámica de cada institución.es-ES
dc.descriptionThe present research was intended to carry out a study in the university sector about the management of knowledge from the spaces of university functions, in accordance with the provisions of Venezuelan legislation. In this sense, the purpose consisted in interpreting the knowledge management developed in the Libertador Experimental Pedagogical Universities, the Pedagogical Institute of Barquisimeto and Yacambú, based on the perception of its university actors. The ontoepistemic and methodological stance was the interpretive paradigm with a qualitative approach. Likewise, epistemically the theory started from social constructionism, revealing what was pointed out by university actors; the method assumed was the phenomenological-hermeneutical. Among the categories that emerged, the following stand out: research at the service of society, university knowledge management, the student within the community context and the teacher as a socializer of knowledge. As a contribution to this research, it stands out that the leading role of universities in the development of the country is indisputable, the generation of knowledge as a product of the investigative activity of the members of the university community responds to the social needs that arise, for which it becomes operational with activities of social responsibility and training planned and immersed in the dynamics of each institution.en-US
