dc.descriptionThis article presents the results of a research conducted in 2020 on technological inequality in "online education" during Covid-19 pandemic among students of the Autonomous University of Chiapas. Questions of this research: Does the modality of "online education" widen the educational inequalities of university students? What were the strategies of teachers and students to give continuity to pedagogical communication, and what were the strategies of teachers and students to give continuity to pedagogical communication? Methodology used was socio-anthropological with a qualitative approach, the methodological strategy contemplated the following stages: a) choosing of students and teachers, b) interviews with students, through “Google Meet” application and chat, c) interviews with teachers through Zoom application and chat d) transcription of the interviews and systematization of the information in Microsoft Access. Results show the deepening of inequality among students as a result of "online education" and "virtualization". Most used technology by university teachers in this modality were social networks and WhatsApp, but not the university educational platform.en-US
dc.descriptionEn este artículo se presentan resultados de una investigación realizada en 2020 sobre la desigualdad tecnológica en la “educación en línea”, durante la pandemia de Covid-19, en alumnos de la Universidad Autónoma de Chiapas. Las preguntas de investigación: ¿La modalidad de “educación en línea” amplía las desigualdades educativas de los alumnos y alumnas universitarios?, ¿Cuáles fueron las estrategias de los docentes y de los estudiantes para dar continuidad a la comunicación pedagógica? La metodología fue socio antropológica con enfoque cualitativo, la estrategia metodológica contempló las siguientes etapas: a) elección de estudiantes, y de docentes, b) entrevistas a estudiantes, a través de la plataforma meet y el chat, c) entrevistas a docentes a través de zoom y del chat d) transcripción de las entrevistas y sistematización de la información en el programa Access. Los resultados muestran la profundización de la desigualdad entre los estudiantes a partir de la “educación en línea” y la “virtualización”. La tecnología más usada por los docentes universitarios en esta modalidad no fue la plataforma educativa universitaria, sino las redes sociales y el WhatsApp.es-ES
