dc.descriptionThe Universities, as educational institutions at a higher level, carry out investigative work as part of the requirements for obtaining the academic title; within this context is the Yacambu University, based in Lara State, Venezuela. This article presents the research trends of the Industrial Engineering career during the active periods 2020-1 to 2022-1 formed as periods of the COVID-19 pandemic. This research approach is quantitative, under the positivist paradigm, using a documentary research with a sample represented by 226 investigative works, which are categorized by 5 trends: Program for the Line of Research, Territory, Area of Action, Research Theme, and Consolidated vs. Emerging Topics. The results show that the trend with the highest percentage results is for the Industrial Process Management program, within the regional context, and about goods production companies, having the existence of emerging issues related to biosafety, corporate social responsibility, sales control system, administrative performance evaluation, and digital marketing. It is concluded that Industrial Engineering students present versatility regarding the investigative trends studied during the mentioned periods, constituting a strength for insertion in the labor field.en-US
dc.descriptionLas Universidades como instituciones educativas a nivel superior, realiza trabajos investigativos como parte de los requisitos de obtención del título académico, dentro este contexto se encuentra la Universidad Yacambú, sede en el Estado Lara. El presente artículo presente las tendencias investigativas de la carrera – programa de Ingeniería Industrial durante los períodos activos 2020-1 al 2022-1 conformados como períodos de pandemia del COVID-19. El enfoque de esta investigación es cuantitativo, bajo el paradigma positivista empleando una investigación documental con muestra está representada por 226 trabajos investigativos, a los cuales se les categoriza por 5 tendencias: Programa para la Línea de Investigación, Territorio, Área de Acción, Temática Investigativa y Temas Consolidados vs Emergentes. Los resultados arrojados que la tendencia con mayores resultados porcentuales es para el programa de Gestión de Procesos Industriales, dentro del contexto regional y en empresas de producción de bienes, teniendo la existencia de temas emergentes relacionados con la bioseguridad, responsabilidad social empresarial, sistema de control de ventas, evaluación de desempeño administrativo y marketing digital. Se concluye que los estudiantes cursantes de Ingeniería Industrial presentan versatilidad respecto a las tendencias investigativas estudiadas durante los períodos mencionados constituyendo una fortaleza para la inserción en el campo laboral.es-ES
