Cine venezolano: una alternativa educativa para estimular el pensamiento crítico

Abstract

This article deals with the educational reality in Venezuela, regarding the pedagogical alternatives that teachers have to stimulate critical thinking; the study had the objective of establishing the pedagogical foundation of cinema to stimulate critical thinking. The study used was based on the qualitative paradigm, the qualitative-interpretative method and the documentary design, the information gathering instrument was the observation guide, in which some questions were drafted adjusted to the subject treated, that is to say to the categories, subcategories and specifically to the units of analysis, so that the researcher could answer them with the help of the documents consulted. The results showed that the educational foundation of cinema is given in terms of the operational-technical, conceptual and instrumental components, which involve their personality, ways of thinking and attitude towards life. In addition, they are focused as an enriching strategy as they serve as an instrument to contextualize the academic contents combining the learning systems to achieve a functional learning in the students, it is concluded that the cinema fosters critical thinking in the students so that they can be guarantors of relating the information they receive with the environment that surrounds them.

El presente artículo versa sobre la realidad educativa que se vive en Venezuela, en cuanto a las alternativas pedagógicas que tienen los docentes para estimular el pensamiento crítico; el estudio tuvo como objetivo establecer el fundamento pedagógico del cine para estimular el pensamiento crítico. El estudio utilizó se fundamentó en el paradigma cualitativo, el método cualitativo-interpretativo y el diseño documental, el instrumento de recolección de información fue la guía de observación, en la cual se redactaron algunas preguntas ajustadas al tema tratado, es decir a las categorías, subcategorías y específicamente a las unidades de análisis, de manera que el investigador las respondiera con la ayuda de los documentos consultados. Los resultados dejaron ver que el fundamento educativo del cine está dado en función de los compones operativos-técnicos, conceptuales e instrumentales, mismo que involucran su personalidad, formas de pensamientos actitud frente la vida. Además, se focalizan como una estrategia enriquecedora en tanto sirven de instrumento para contextualizar los contenidos académicos combinando los sistemas de aprendizaje para lograr un aprendizaje funcional en los estudiantes, se concluye que el cine fomenta en los estudiantes el pensamiento crítico de manera que pueden ser garantes de relacionar la información que reciben con el medio que los rodea.
