This study examined the relationship between the pedagogical integration of artificial intelligence tools and learning in the environmental management course for fisheries engineering students at the National University of Callao. The objective was to determine whether the use of tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Qwen, Copilot, Gamma, Suno, and HeyGen was associated with overall learning and its cognitive, behavioral, and affective dimensions. The study employed a quantitative, applied, and pre-experimental design, using a single-group pretest-posttest design. The census sample consisted of 9 students enrolled in the course during January 2025. Data were collected using a Likert-type questionnaire and analyzed using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test and Spearman’s correlation coefficient. Statistically significant differences were found between the pretest and posttest, as well as positive and significant correlations between the use of AI tools and overall learning, including its cognitive (ρ = 0.963; p < 0.001), behavioral (ρ = 0.688; p = 0.042), and affective (ρ = 0.665; p = 0.046) dimensions. These findings indicate that the pedagogical integration of artificial intelligence enhances learning processes in higher education and constitutes a useful resource for teaching Environmental Management in university settings.
