dc.descriptionEn el año 1986 se produjo una de los más fatídicos e impactantes accidentes nucleares conocidos, concretamente en la ciudad industrial de Chernóbil, al norte de Ucrania. Dentro de los profesionales desplegados por el gobierno soviético destacó la figura de Valeri Legásov, reconocido químico inorgánico quien jugó un rol fundamental tanto en la minimización de los daños ocasionados por la radiación, como en las secuelas políticas del accidente.es-ES

Among the professionals deployed by the Soviet government there was Valery Legasov, a well-known inorganic chemist who played a fundamental roll in minimizing the damage caused by the radiation, as well as in the political aftermath that succeeded.en-US
