| dc.description | The main objective of this article is to reflect on the participation of women in the reconstruction of the social fabric of a country victim of the scourge of armed conflict such as Colombia, where at least 22 wars have been fought during the last century, linked to power disputes between the State, big businessmen and the church. They were also marked by the territorial and state struggle between traditional political parties and illegal groups. Women have played an important role, because they have been heads of households, victims of violence and abandonment of their lands (displacement), and have had to face adverse family situations due to violations of their rights, and have come out successful to begin to rebuild the welfare of their families, in an admirable way, contributing to the recovery of the social fabric. The methodology employed was documentary, using a search strategy in databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar, following the guidelines of Booth, Sutton, and Papaioannou (2016). Keywords included: “armed conflict in Colombia”, “peace agreement”, “forced displacement”, “social fabric”, and “women and conflict”. Concluding on the important role of women in the reconstruction of the social fabric within the territories, because, being the focus of violence, living this scourge in their own flesh, they can resiliently overcome and collaborate with the community generating the necessary strategies that contribute to this purpose. | en |
| dc.description | El objetivo principal de este artículo es reflexionar sobre la participación de las mujeres en la reconstrucción de tejido social de un país víctima del flagelo del conflicto armado como es Colombia, donde se han vivido al menos 22 guerras durante el siglo pasado, vinculadas a las disputas del poder entre el Estado, los grandes empresarios y la iglesia. Estuvieron además marcadas por la pugna territorial y estatal protagonizada por los partidos políticos tradicionales y los grupos al margen de la ley. La mujer ha jugado un papel importante, porque ha sido cabeza de hogar, víctima de la violencia y del abandono de sus tierras (desplazamiento), aunado a ello, ha tenido que afrontar situaciones familiares adversas por violaciones de sus derechos y salir airosa para comenzar a reconstruir el bienestar de su familia, de una manera admirable ha contribuido a la recuperación del tejido social. La metodología empleada fue documental, utilizando una estrategia de búsqueda en bases de datos como Scopus, Web of Science, y Google Scholar, siguiendo las pautas de Booth, Sutton y Papaioannou (2016). Las palabras clave incluyeron: "conflicto armado en Colombia", "acuerdo de paz", "desplazamiento forzado", “tejido social”, y "mujeres y conflicto". Concluyendo en el papel importante de la mujer en la reconstrucción del tejido social dentro de los territorios, por cuanto, al ser el foco de la violencia, viviendo en carne propia ese flagelo, puede con resiliencia sobreponerse y colaborar con la comunidad generando las estrategias necesarias que coadyuven a ese propósito. | es |
