dc.descriptionResumen   En Cuba, la literatura ha sido desde los inicios de la formación del ser nacional muestra de la expresión identitaria del pueblo. Ha revelado el sentir personal de cada autor. Recrear su arte, ha permitido a través de la destreza literaria mostrar la identificación con el terruño. El trabajo que se presenta posee como objetivo: realizar un análisis de cómo se formó la conciencia identitaria en Cuba, en la fecha que abarca desde su descubrimiento y hasta la primera mitad del siglo XIX. Abstract In Cuba, literature has been, since the beginning of the formation of the national being, an example of the identity expression of the people. It has revealed the personal feelings of each author. Recreating his art has allowed, through literary skill, to show identification with the land. The objective of the work presented is to carry out an analysis of how identity consciousness was formed in Cuba, from the date of its discovery until the first half of the 19th century  es-ES
