dc.descriptionEl presente artículo tiene como objetivo presentar un análisis de tres conceptos de gran importancia para la convivencia en sociedad, y que, además, guardan relación estrecha entre ellos y con el día a día del accionar del ser humano. Hablar de ellos implica señalar de alguna manera como debemos actuar en sociedad y como tratar a nuestros semejantes para crear, mantener y desarrollar una cultura de convivencia para la paz. Estos conceptos no son otros sino, sensibilización, concienciación y convivencia. Por lo tanto, se consideran de suma importancia en lo que respecta a la aceptación del otro como igual, así como el trato con tolerancia y equidad. En este trabajo se expondrá de manera detallada el significado de cada uno de ellos para su mejor comprensión y aplicación, ya que, en la actualidad la sociedad pareciera que cada día se deshumaniza y le hace falta un toque de comprensión, empatía y sobre todo una efectiva comunicación. Epistemológicamente se usó el paradigma sociocrítico, con un enfoque cualitativo y se empleó el método hermenéutico. Se usaron las técnicas de la observación directa, la entrevista en profundidad y el registro de hechos significativos. En el estudio colaboraron 3 informantes clave, seleccionados de acuerdo con su participación en los grupos focales que se establecieron para la obtención de la información.   Abstract This article aims to present an analysis of three highly important concepts for coexistence in society, which are also closely related to each other and to the day-to-day actions of human beings. Talking about them implies in some way indicating how we should act in society and how to treat our fellow human beings to create, maintain and develop a culture of coexistence for peace. These concepts are none other than awareness, raising awareness and coexistence. Therefore, they are considered of paramount importance when it comes to accepting others as equals, as well as treating them with tolerance and equity. This work will detail the meaning of each of them for their better understanding and application, since, nowadays, society seems to become more dehumanized each day and lacks a touch of understanding, empathy and above all effective communication. Epistemologically, the sociocritical paradigm was used, with a qualitative approach and the hermeneutic method was employed. The techniques of direct observation, in-depth interview and the recording of significant events were used. The study involved 3 key informants, selected according to their participation in the focus groups that were established to obtain information.
