dc.descriptionSe examina la protesta en Venezuela durante el período 1999 a 2010. Se entiende por protesta la acción disruptiva de un grupo destinada a hacer público un desacuerdo o desavenencia con normas, instituciones, políticas, fuerzas, autoridades y/o condiciones sociales y políticas. El trabajo consta de dos partes. La primera, con base en los datos de la ONG Provea, presenta indicadores que demuestran el aumento y visibilidad en todo el territorio nacional del fenómeno. La segunda incluye una revisión de las principales teorías, para luego sobre la base de 214 entrevistas cualitativas realizadas por la autora sobre las motivaciones de la participación en las protestas, proponer un análisis desde la perspectiva psicosocial, identificando los supuestos y procesos inherentes que soportan la protesta. Psychosocial analysis of the Venezuela Protest: 1999-2010AbstractThis article examines the Venezuela protest during the period of 1999 to 2010. Protest is the disruptive action made by a group intended to make public a disagreement or rift with standards, institutions, politics, forces, authorities and/or social and political conditions. The work has two parts, the first one according to the ONG Provea data, presents indicators that shows an increase and visibility all over the national territory. The second part, includes a revision of the main theoretical proposals that deals with the theme so then, over the base of 214 qualitative interviews made from the author about the motivation of the participation in protests, it proposes an analysis from the psychosocial perspective, identifying the budgets that supports the protests and inherent process.es-ES
