dc.description El objetivo de esta investigación fue identificar los principales indicadores  en  una  batería  de  pruebas  neuropsicológicas  que predigan  la  evolución  a Demencia Tipo  de Alzheimer  (DTA) de  pacientes  previamente  diagnosticados  con  Deterioro Cognitivo Leve  (DCL),  en  la Sección de Neuropsicología  del Hospital Universitario de Caracas.  A través de un muestreo no probabilístico se obtuvo una muestra de 30 personas de ambos sexos,  con  edades  entre  46  y  81  años,  cuya  evolución  fue evaluada generando dos grupos diagnósticos: DTA y DCL. Los resultados  fueron  analizados  con  la  prueba  U  de  Mann Whitney, encontrando que el Test de Aprendizaje Audioverbal de Rey fue el que discriminó ambos grupos, específicamente el intento VII,  índices V-VII y I-VI y el error R.  AbstractThe  objective  of  this  investigation  done  in the Neuropsychological  Section  of  the  Hospital  Universitario  de Caracas  was  to  identify  the  main  indicators  in  a  battery  of neuropsychological tests that permit to predict the evolution to Dementia  of  the  Alzheimer´s  Type  (DTA)  in  patients previously diagnosed with Mild Cognitive  Impairment  (MCI). Through  a  non  probabilistic  sampling we  got  a  sample  of  30 patients from both gender, 46 to 81 years old, whose evolution was  evaluated  generating  two  diagnostic  groups:  DTA  and MCI.  The  results  were  analized  with  U-Mann  Whitney’s coefficient; we found that the Rey’s Audioverbal Learning Test intent VII, index V-VII, I- I and errors in R were the ones who could discriminate both groups.es-ES
