dc.descriptionEsta  investigación  se  interesa  en  las  nuevas  socialidades postmodernas  o  grupos  no  institucionalizados  que  construyen sus identidades haciendo uso del espacio público citadino. Así, el propósito de investigación se centra en la comprensión de las identidades sociales urbanas de las tribus graffiteras adscritas al movimiento hip-hop en la ciudad de Caracas. Se trabajó con 12 jóvenes  activos  en  la  pintada  de  graffiti  pertenecientes  a distintos grupos de algunas zonas de Caracas, bajo un enfoque cualitativo  basado  en  entrevistas  en  profundidad  y  análisis crítico  del  discurso.  Adicionalmente  se  utilizaron  otras herramientas  complementarias  como  observaciones,    registro fotográfico y entrevistas a ciudadanos que dieron cuenta de  la construcción de sus identidades en tanto tribus urbanas.  AbstractThis  research  is  based  in  the  construction  of  identity  of postmodern  new  sociality  or  noninstitutionalized  groups  that construct their identities making use of the city´s public spaces. Thus,  the  pourpose  of  the  investigation  is  focuses  in  the understanding  of  the  urban  social  identities  of  the  assigned graffers tribes to the movement hip-hop in the city of Caracas. It  worked  with  12  active  graffiti  painters  who  belong  to different graffiti groups from different areas of Caracas, under a qualitative approach based on interviews in depth and critical analysis of the speech. Additionally other complementary tools like  observations,  analysis  of  content,  photographic  recording and  interviews  to citizens were used who gave account of  the construction of their identities as urban tribes.es-ES
