dc.descriptionResumenEl presente trabajo deriva de la intervención psicosocial  enmarcada en las labores de voluntariado, pasantías y servicio comunitario en respuesta a las situaciones de emergencia del año 2010 por parte de la Red de Apoyo Psicológico y estudiantes de Psicología. Los objetivos del trabajo fueron: realizar un diagnóstico integral de las necesidades de los albergados; apoyar a nivel psicosocial la vivencia familiar, comunitaria y personal; intervenir de forma individual y colectiva, haciendo énfasis en los siguientes aspectos: elaboración de duelo y reconstrucción de la experiencia traumática; trabajar y  acompañar a niños y adolescentes en los siguientes aspectos: convivencia, normas, sexualidad y género; y rescatar de la vida cotidiana, valores y autonomía. Se trabajó con la metodología de la investigación-acciónparticipativa (IAP). La experiencia nos llevó a problematizar las relaciones institucionales insertas en los albergues y la de nosotros como participantes de la Red de Apoyo Psicológico. Psychosocial intervention in emergencies: Analysis of five shelters in Caracas (November 2010-September 2012)AbstractThis investigation arises from the psychosocial intervention signed in the voluntary service, apprenticeship and community service as a response to the emergency situations of 2010 by the psychological support net and students of Psychology. The objectives of the research were to do a complete diagnosis of the people who live in shelters, support the family experiencein a psychosocial level, get involved in an individual and collective way emphasizing the following aspects: mourning and reconstruction of the traumatic experience, work with children and adolescents and accompany them in the following aspects: coexistence, norms, sexuality and gender and recover from daily life values and autonomy. We worked with participative action-research. The experience led us to discuss about institutionalrelationships in the shelters and about our relationships as participants of the Psychological Support Net.es-ES
