dc.descriptionEl objetivo de este trabajo es describir la evolución de la línea de investigación en psicología de la salud desarrollada en el Instituto de Psicología de la UCV. A través de entrevistas con los representantes del Departamento de Investigación Aplicada y el Departamento de Investigación Fundamental, se hizo un recorrido histórico por los puntos de partida para la realización de los proyectos de investigación en el área, los actores implicados, las áreas y temáticas principales de investigación. Por otra parte, las entrevistas permitieron conocer las áreas de investigación de los docentes entrevistados y su análisis acerca de la importancia y los desafíos de la investigación en psicología de la salud en Venezuela.Health psychology within the Psychology Institute of the Central University of VenezuelaAbstractThe purpose of this work was to describe the evolution of the investigation line in Health Psychology developed within the Psychology Institute of the Central University of Venezuela (Universidad Central de Venezuela – UCV). Interviewing the representatives of the Applied Investigation Department, and the representatives of the Fundamental Investigation Department, a historic span was made over the starting points of the development of investigation projects within the field, including implied actors, areas and principal topics of research. Interviews allowed to acknowledge the investigation areas of the interviewed researchers, along its importance and challenges of investigating within the Health Psychology Field in Venezuela.es-ES
