dc.descriptionIn this paper, an analysis of  Michael Behe's (biochemistry, author of "Darwin's Black Box", and leader of the ID movement) position regarding the materialistic-Darwinian approach to the origin of life is made. Furthermore, two of the main criticisms that have been made against his point of view are described. Special attention is placed on the epistemological restrictions to any kind of creationism, whether it accepts (as in Behe's case) or rejects (as in other figures of the movement) evolution as a historical fact; and on the unjustified ontological statements that several scientists make from such limitation.en-US
dc.descriptionEn este trabajo se realiza un análisis de la posición crítica de Michael Behe (bioquímico, autor de "La Caja Negra de Darwin", y líder del movimiento del Diseño Inteligente) respecto a la perspectiva materialista darwinista del origen de la vida. Además, se describen dos de las principales cr´ticas que se han hecho a su obra. Se pone especial atención en las restricciones epistemológicas a cualquier clase de creacionismo, independiente de sí la misma acepta (como en el caso de Behe) o rechaza (como otros representantes del movimiento) a la evolución como hecho histórico; y a las injustificadas declaraciones ontológicas que muchos científicos realizan a partir de dicha limitación.  es-ES
