dc.descriptionThis work reviews some functions of this word (language) in the group of the philosophy of the language, activity as old as the same Philosophy. In particular, it explores, by means of examples, in what measure the word is an essential part of the knowledge, which is its status and reach, how and for what reason the interpretations settle down, and how, finally, they always propitiate the compression of a previous context given: the world. With the one added, clear, that the word also belongs to that world.en-US
dc.descriptionEste trabajo repasa algunas funciones de la palabra dicha (lenguaje) en el conjunto de la filosofía del lenguaje, actividad tan antigua como la Filosofía misma. En particular explora, mediante ejemplos, en qué medida la palabra es parte esencial del conocimiento, cuál es su estatus y alcance, cómo y para qué se establecen las interpretaciones y cómo, finalmente, ellas propician la compresión de un contexto previo siempre dado: el mundo. Con el añadido, claro, de que la palabra también pertenece al mundo.  es-ES
