dc.descriptionIntroduction: primary health care in Ecuador does not have validated research instruments on risk factors that influence overweight and obesity in workers. Objective: to validate, through expert judgment and Cronbach's coefficient, the instrument to measure workers' overweight. Methodology: The instrument is made up of demographic data and a total of 20 items. For the analysis of the variables, an expert judgment matrix was made to calculate the validity, relevance and coherence. The instrument was applied to the workers of District 09D06. The validation was by expert judgments and was applied with a sample of 15 participants as a pilot test. Descriptive statistics were calculated for the analysis and Cronbach's alpha was used to obtain reliability. Results: the expert judgment validation obtains a score of 94 and a Cronbach's Alpha coefficient of 0.897. Conclusions: The developed instrument presented a very high concordance between the scores obtained from the experts, indicating a very reliable validity on the clarity of the wording and a high reliability in the coefficient.en-US
dc.descriptionIntroducción: la atención primaria de salud en el Ecuador no cuenta con instrumentos de investigación validados sobre factores de riesgo que influyen en el sobrepeso y la obesidad de los trabajadores. Objetivo: validar mediante el juicio de expertos y coeficiente de Cronbach el instrumento para medir el sobre peso de los trabajadores. Metodología: El instrumento está constituido por los datos demográficos y un total de 20 ítems. Para el análisis de las variables, se realizó una matriz de juicio de expertos para calcular la validez, pertinencia y coherencia. El instrumento fue aplicado a los trabajadores del Distrito 09D06. La validación fue por juicios de expertos y se aplicó con una muestra de 15 participantes como prueba piloto. Para el análisis se calcularon los estadísticos descriptivos y para obtener la confiabilidad se utilizó el alfa de Cronbach. Resultados: la validación de juicio de expertos obtiene una puntuación de 94 y en coeficiente de Alfa de Cronbach de 0,897. Conclusiones: El instrumento desarrollado presentó una muy alta concordancia entre el puntaje obtenido de los expertos, indicando una validez muy confiable sobre la claridad de la redacción y en el coeficiente una alta fiabilidad.es-ES
