dc.descriptionResumen:El artículo medita sobre seis grandes enseñanzas que se desprenden de la trilogía histórica expulsión-extinción-restauración de los jesuitas en Venezuela. La primera: ante el poder omnímodo del Estado cualquier razón de justicia pierde su vigencia. La segunda: cuando poder eclesiástico se deja acorralar por el poder civil autoritario acaba convirtiéndose en su víctima. La tercera: se desprende de la validación que se debe realizar para verificar si el grado de fidelidad de lo restaurado ofrece las garantías genuinas con las intuiciones de los fundadores y las luces de la Primera Compañía. La cuarta: se inspira en la creencia de los verdaderos videntes de que ni el pasado ha muerto, ni el mañana está escrito. La quinta: confiesa que las conmemoraciones son la conciencia del tiempo. La sexta: recurre a la meditación ignaciana de lo que debe ser el Principio y Fundamento de todo jesuita.Palabras clave: Jesuitas. Compañía de Jesús. Exilio. Extinción. Restauración. Poder autoritario.Abstract:The article meditates on six major lessons learned from the historical trilogy expulsion-extincion - restoration of the Jesuits in Venezuela. The first: to the absolute power of the State any reason for Justice loses its validity. The second: when to ecclesiastical left corner by authoritarian civilian power ends up becoming his victim. The third: emerges from validation that should be performed to verify if the degree of fidelity of the restored offers genuine guarantees with the insights of the founders and the lights of the first company. The fourth: is inspired by the belief of the true visionaries of the past is dead, or tomorrow is written. The Fifth: confesses that the commemorations are the conscience of the time.
