dc.descriptionResumen:Este artículo estudia las relaciones de Francisco de Miranda con los jesuitas expulsos. Aborda en toda su complejidad cuál era el conocimiento real que el Precursor de la Emancipación Americana tenía de ellos y analiza desde su origen y ramificaciones el mito de sus conexiones con los jesuitas expulsos para fraguar con su apoyo una poderosa organización independentista.Palabras clave: Historia de la emancipación en Hispanoamérica, Francisco de Miranda, Los  jesuitas expulsos.         Abstracts:This paper studies relations between the expelled Jesuits and Francisco de Miranda. Addressed in all its complexity what the actual knowledge that the precursor of the American Emancipation had them and discusses their origin and ramifications from the myth of its connections with the Jesuits expelled and their support to forget a powerful separatist organization.Keywords: History of emancipation in Latin America, Francisco de Miranda, The Jesuits expelled.es-ES
