| dc.description | Resumen:El mariscal Antonio José de Sucre fue un destacado jefe militar de la independencia hispanoamericana. Sus dotes de estratega han sido analizadas en multiples obras. Sin embargo, se conoce poco acerca de su pensamiento político, que, pese a ser próximo a Simón Bolívar, tenía rasgos particulares. Uno de ellos era su acendrado nacionalismo, que lo llevó a participar en el debate que se abrió en la República de Colombia entre proteccionistas y librecambistas, exigiendo Sucre medidas proeccionistas a favor de las industrias textiles del distrito surcolombiano.Palabras clave: Siglo XIX, independencia, ideas políticas, mariscal Antorio José de Sucre.Abstrac:Marshal Antonio José de Sucre was and outstanding commanding officer of Spanish American independence. His talents as a strategist have been analyzed in numerous works. However, little is known of his political thought, which not withstanding his proximity to Simón Bolívar, had personal characteristics. One of them was his unblemished nationalism that led him to participate in the debate that began in the Colombian Republic between protectionists and free traders, in which Sucre demanded protectionist measures in favor of the textile industries of the southern Colombian district.Keywords: 19th century, independence, political ideas, Marshal Antonio José de Sucre. | es-ES |
