dc.descriptionResumen:La historiografía es una ciencia del Renacimiento y consiste en detectar el alma de la bibliografía de las bibliografías desarrolladas por una institución dedicada a las letras, las ciencias y las artes. El presente estudio consta de 4 grandes capítulos. En el primero se expone largamente el marco de referencia para poder disponer de una visión historiográfica de la Compañía de Jesús a lo largo de sus cuatro siglos de historia. El segundo se encuadra en el mismo estudio dentro de la Venezuela colonial. En el tercero se estudia cada uno de los jesuitas coloniales que produjeron escritos en cualquier campo de las ciencias. Se cierra el estudio con una amplia información tanto documental como bibliográfica.Palabras clave: Historiografía, Compañía de Jesús, Escritores jesuitas, Venezuela colonial.Abstract:Historiography is a science of the Renaissance and consists of detecting the soul of the bibliography of the bibliographies developed by an institution dedicated to letters, sciences and arts. The present study consists of 4 major chapters. In the first one, the frame of reference is exposed for a long time in order to have a historiographical vision of the Society of Jesus throughout its four centuries of history. The second is framed in the same study within colonialVenezuela. In the third one, each of the colonial Jesuits who produced writings in any field of science is studied.
