dc.descriptionThe theme we intend to develop in this study: the relationship of the evangelizing method of the Society of Jesus, in Seville, with the employee in America and, in particular, with the theological question of the validity of baptism received by black-African slaves arriving on the charges from the western coasts of Portugal-dominated Africa. Therefore, it should be noted that the Society of Jesus, which arrived in Peru, in 1568, has a previous experience, in the evangelization and catechesis of African slaves, since its establishment, in Seville in 1554.en-US
dc.descriptionEl tema que pretendemos desarrollar en el presente estudio: la relación del método evangelizador de la Compañía de Jesús, en Sevilla, con el empleado en América y, en particular, con la cuestión teológica de la validez del bautismo recibido por los esclavos negro-africanos llegados en las cargazones procedentes de las costas occidentales de África dominadas por Portugal. Por ello, hay que tener en cuenta que la Compañía de Jesús, que llega al Perú, en 1568, tiene una experiencia previa, en la evangelización y catequesis de los esclavos africanos, desde su establecimiento, en Sevilla en 1554.es-ES
