dc.descriptionIn this article we only intend an approach to the global vision of the authors and books that the Jesuits residing in Bogotá could handle until the expulsion of 1767, in the so-called "Jesuit Block", where all the houses and activities of the Company were located. of Jesus. We make a quantitative and thematic analysis to describe the sense of science through the authors reviewed. Our research on the bibliographical repertoire found in the Jesuit block has the final objective of discovering the works of the members of the Society of Jesus itself read at the Javeriana University. Also trace the works and ideas of the authors of other religious orders and foreign thinkers who fed the studies of researchers and teachers who worked in the New Kingdom of Granada between the sixteenth and eighteenth centuries.en-US
dc.descriptionEn el presente artículo solo pretendemos un acercamiento a la visión global de los autores y libros que pudieron manejar los jesuitas residentes en Bogotá hasta la expulsión de 1767, en la llamada “Manzana jesuítica”, donde se localizaban todas las casas y actividades de la Compañía de Jesús. Hacemos un análisis cuantitativo y temático para describir el sentido de la ciencia a través de los autores recensados. Nuestra investigación sobre el repertorio bibliográfico encontrado en la manzana jesuítica tiene por objetivo final descubrir las obras de los miembros de la propia Compañía de Jesús, leídas en la Universidad Javeriana. También rastrear las obras e ideas de los autores de otras órdenes religiosas y pensadores extranjeros que alimentaron los estudios de los investigadores y profesores que ejercieron en el Nuevo Reino de Granada entre los siglos XVI y XVIII.es-ES
