dc.descriptionThis simple contribution to academic research on the Society of Jesus in Venezuela simply wants to introduce the repository that the General Archive of the Nation keeps on the subject. Now, before crossing the door that leads to the different Funds, we wanted to reflect on the possible origin of the distrust that moved Carlos III to expel the Jesuits from his Kingdoms and to work hard for their extinction. Hopefully it will be an interesting itinerary.en-US

Ahora bien, antes de cruzar la puerta que conduce a los distintos Fondos, hemos querido reflexionar sobre el posible origen de la desconfianza que movió a Carlos III a expulsar a los Jesuitas de sus Reinos y a trabajar con ahínco por su extinción.
