| dc.description | El tema de la dignidad humana se encuentra en el centro de la reflexión contemporánea, tanto por su incidencia en el ámbito socio-político, como por los abusos y atropellos que se cometen contra la misma, en nombre de una autodenominada cultura progresista que, irónicamente, defiende supuestos derechos que contrarían en la práctica la inalienable dignidad del hombre. Ante ello, es importante redescubrir el concepto verdadero de ‘dignidad’, fundamentada en los grandes filósofos de la historia, así como en los pasajes de la Sagrada Escritura que manifiestan la imagen y semejanza de Dios en el hombre y la mujer, constituyéndolos en seres ciertamente materiales, pero abiertos a una trascendencia ulterior por medio de su capacidad para conocer y amar a Dios. En este contexto, se publicó la Declaración Dignitas Infinita, con la intención de recuperar una visión cristiana de la dignidad humana, llamando la atención contra los atropellos que, en la actualidad, se evidencian contra la misma, augurando una defensa acérrima que tome en cuenta la verdad sobre la infinita dignidad del hombre y la mujer, creados a imagen de Dios.Recepción: 15/06/2024 - Aprobación: 02/07/2024 | es-ES |
| dc.description | The theme of human dignity is at the center of contemporary reflection, both because of its incidence in the socio-political sphere and because of the abuses and outrages committed against it in the name of a self-styled progressive culture that, ironically, defends supposed rights that in practice contradict the inalienable dignity of man. In the face of this, it is important to rediscover the true concept of ‘dignity’, based on the great philosophers of history, as well as on the passages of Sacred Scripture that manifest the image and likeness of God in man and woman, constituting them as beings who are certainly material, but open to a further transcendence through their capacity to know and love God. In this context, the Declaration Dignitas Infinita was published with the intention of recovering a Christian vision of human dignity, calling attention to the outrages that are currently beingcommitted against it, and advocating a staunch defense that takes into account the truth about the infinite dignity of man and woman, created in the image of God.Received: 15/06/2024 - Approved: 02/07/2024 | en-US |
