dc.description	El objetivo de este artículo es desvelar de manera aproximativa, los elementos perceptivos que tienen los estudiantes de doctorado sobre la cultura investigativa. Para ello, se presenta parte de los resultados de una tesis doctoral, elaborado por el autor, bajo la tutoría de la coautora. El método de investigación aplicado es la teoría fundamentada, apoyada en entrevistas realizadas a 6 estudiantes de un doctorado y 1 coordinador del programa. Los resultados revelaron que los doctorandos se ven influenciados por sus creencias y percepciones de que la investigación debe seguir estándares cuantitativos, lo cual impide apreciar de manera particular determinados problemas o fenómenos que ocurren dentro de la realidad del contexto educativo. Aunado a ello, puede darse el caso de que al no delimitar el problema, el estudiante, al presentar falencias en la escritura académica y un sesgo hacia los enfoques cualitativos, encuentra inconvenientes en el desarrollo de la tesis doctoral, como consecuencia de tener concepciones poco amplias del tratamiento de fenómenos, desde un punto de vista más interiorizante y menos limitativo. Las conclusiones del trabajo expresan la necesidad de adoptar métodos que supongan analizar y reflexionar sobre las realidades educativas de una manera constructiva y propositiva, que atraviesen la brecha de la simple reproducción del conocimiento y conduzcan a la compresión de la realidad, en el marco de la reflexión y la metacognición.Recepción: 02/06/2025 - Aprobación: 30/06/2025	es-ES
dc.description	The objective of this article is to approximately unveil the perceptive elements that doctoral students hold about research culture. To achieve this, part of the results of a doctoral thesis, prepared by the author under the supervision of the co-author, is presented. The research method applied is grounded theory, supported by interviews conducted with six doctoral students and one program coordinator. The results revealed that doctoral candidates are influenced by their beliefs and perceptions that research must follow quantitative standards, which prevents them from appreciating in particular certain problems or phenomena that occur within the reality of the educational context. Furthermore, when the research problem is not well defined, students who present weaknesses in academic writing and a bias toward qualitative approaches encounter difficulties in the development of their doctoral thesis. This occurs as a consequence of having limited conceptions of how to address phenomena, adopting a more inward-looking and restrictive rather than broad perspective. The conclusions of this work emphasize the need to adopt methods that involve analyzing and reflecting on educational realities in a constructive and proactive way, bridging the gap of simple knowledge reproduction and leading instead to a deeper understanding of reality, within the framework of reflection and metacognition.Received: 02/06/2025 - Approved: 30/06/2025	en-US
