dc.descriptionThe natural sciences and the humanities were born together until the Renaissance, which separated them. Both were achieved through empiricalobservation of nature, humankind, and their origins. There was a fundamental reason for this separation: the exaltation of deities andthe subjugation of humankind in the Near East. Conversely, humankind was elevated before the gods in Greek philosophy. The Christian Church dominated the now rational observation of humankind and nature, and its origin and destiny, attributing them to a spiritualist interpretation of the Bible and Holy Scriptures, which linked science with religion. As the world changed, it attempted to develop an anthropocentric theory that did not prosper. Renaissance society separated the sciences and the humanities, a separation that persists to this day. It made them scientific, separating religion from science. Due to a lack of understanding, scientists and humanists sought refuge in academies until the 19th century, when they embraced the renewed mission of the university. In the 20th and 21st centuries, economic liberalism transformed science into a commodity and abandoned the humanities, leaving them without protection from the state, universities, or society. They are now searching for ways to survive.en-US

Los dos conocimientos se lograron por observaciónempírica sobre la naturaleza, el hombre y sus orígenes. Hubo una razón fundamental. Enaltecer las divinidades y supeditar al hombre en el Cercano Oriente. AL revés, el hombre se dignificó frente los dioses en la filosofía griega. La Iglesia Cristiana domino la observación ahora racional del hombre y la naturaleza, y su origen y destino que los atribuyó a una interpretación espiritualista de la Biblia y Sagradas Escrituras, que ligó la ciencia con la religión. Al cambiar el mundo, intentó elaborar una teoría antropocéntrica que no prosperó. La sociedad renacentista separó las ciencias y las humanidades, hasta hoy. Las hizo científicas, separando la religión y la ciencia. Por incomprensión, los científicos y humanistas se refugiaron en las Academias hasta el siglo XIX cuando se acogieron a la renovada misión de la universidad. En los siglos XX y XI, el liberalismo económico ha convertido a la ciencia en una mercancía y abandonó a las humanidades, sin protección del Estado, de la universidad y de la sociedad.
